WWKIP Day

I'll be knitting here. Where will you be on this World Wide Knit in Public Day?

It's also Flag Day. This is a holiday that never quite got off the ground.

And tomorrow is Father's Day.

It's going to be a busy weekend.

I am working today, and my Knit Nite friends came and knit outside the store. They went on a road trip to a yarn shop 45 minutes away. We've had a really good day today in our "yarn department". I think it's the best day we've ever had saleswise. Not bad considering the discounts ranged from 20% in increments of 5 to 40%. And I had a lady order over $200 worth of yarn to make two sweaters. :)

Hope you had a fun day, too! Have a nice weekend.

Darn it, I was at the Huntington on Friday! Didn't get a chance to knit, though, since I was accompanied by 2 daughters, 1 daughter-in-law, and 3 grandkids! Did you get a chance to see the new Chinese garden? I think it would be a wonderful place to sit and knit...

I hope your weekend was great. Love reading your blog. Flag day reminds me of all I take for granted in the USA. I hope you have a wonderful Fathers Day!
