Surprisingly, it was quiet here. I just can't imagine the noise you have to put up with. Well, I can, having once, many, many years ago done the "camp out on Colorado for the Parade" bit, but I'm sure it's gotten much, much louder/ruder. Hope today is peaceful, productive, and filled with naps.Christinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06482385229105190471noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3394029.post-88096120348521600592008-01-01T06:52:00.000-08:002008-01-01T06:52:00.000-08:00We were at the dance, but apparently the neighbors...We were at the dance, but apparently the neighbors only had a couple of fireworks this year. The oldest one stayed up to watch them. They said there were a few gunshots, too.

The fire hall dance sucked. They played crap music. To top it off when we got there just before 11 I went and asked for a kahlua and milk. They didn't have any. So I drank water. I don't know if they ran out or didn't have any to begin with. They didn't have a balloon drop, New Years hats, horns, nothing. (I knew I should have stayed home and knit!)

I hope you get enough peace and quiet for a decent nap today! :)lexahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00349151799470816752noreply@blogger.com
